Sponsorship

As a non-profit arts organization, SIFF has built many successful corporate partnerships over the course of our 37-year history. From direct financial support to providing goods and services, there are many ways to make a tax-deductible contribution and provide your brand with significant marketing exposure, uncluttered and easily recognizable with SIFF’s sizable audience (over 200,000 filmgoers in 2011).

Whether you want to make a big impression at the annual Seattle International Film Festival or create a year-round impact with SIFF Cinema or SIFF FutureWave educational programming, we would be happy to create a customized sponsorship proposal designed to meet your marketing objectives and budget.

For a general overview of SIFF sponsorship opportunities and audience demographics, please download the following documents:

Seattle International Film Festival

Founded in 1976, the Seattle International Film Festival is the largest, most well attended film festival in the United States (150,000+ filmgoers in 2011). The 25-day festival is renowned for its eclectic programming with more than 450 features, short films, and documentaries from over 70 countries screened annually at theaters located all across Seattle.

The 38th Annual Seattle International Film Festival will take place May 17 – June 10, 2012.

SIFF Cinema

SIFF Cinema provides sponsors with the opportunity to have year-round interaction with SIFF filmgoers. This daily film programming is shown on four screens in two SIFF-operated Seattle-based theaters: SIFF Cinema at the Uptown and SIFF Cinema at the Film Center.

SIFF Cinema programming includes a variety of local and touring film festivals, art-house film releases, retrospective and repertory programs, and one-of-a-kind event screenings designed to engage, entertain, and enlighten.

Our annual line up of week-long mini-festivals, including New Italian Cinema (November), Spanish Cinema (September), and Film Noir (February) offer the opportunity to showcase your brand in front of a very specified audience.

Your SIFF Cinema sponsorship can also be combined with Film Festival involvement for extra impact. Sponsorship opportunities include naming rights and proprietary platforms.

SIFF FutureWave

Focused on expanding cinema through education, SIFF FutureWave offers youth a direct link to SIFF Cinema and the Seattle International Film Festival. FutureWave programming is scheduled year round and includes classroom visits by filmmakers, digital technology workshops, special student screenings with accompanying study guides, and the FutureWave Shorts Program, which presents the best of youth short filmmaking from around the world.

If you have questions about FutureWave sponsorship opportunities, please contact Educational Programs Coordinator Dustin Kaspar at dustin.kaspar@siff.net.
