2015 Seattle 48 Hour Film Project

July 14 - August 6, 2015

100 min (approx)

The Seattle 48 Hour Film Project challenges filmmakers to create a 4-7 minute short film using a required character, line of dialogue, prop and a genre in just two days. Over 1200 local filmmakers will compete in 80+ teams culminating in screenings at SIFF Cinema Uptown a mere two days later.

Special Engagement: $12
SIFF Cinema passes, vouchers, and other discounts are not valid.

The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which you and a team make a movie—write, shoot, edit and score it—in just 48 hours. On Friday night, you get a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre. 48 hours later, you submit your finished film. In 2014 more than 80,000 filmmakers made films in 130 cities around the world. 2015 promises to be even bigger! Seattle took 3rd place internationally at Filmapalooza, the worldwide Best Of event for the 48HFP, in Hollywood in February 2015.
