Skateboard Film Festival Opening Night
The Skateboard Film Festival kicks off with a section of short films followed by the local premier of A Day at the Park, a portrait of the skateboard scene from over 30 skateparks in the greater Seattle area.

Spot On

"Spot On" is an independent film from Philadelphia, PA in association with Exit Philadelphia (local skateshop). This is an introduction to the film, which is scheduled to be released in December, 2009. "Spot On" was shot entirely in the raw alleyways of center city Philadelphia over a three-day weekend. The intro serves as a glimpse of the underlying theme of the film as well as a sampling of the skateboarders who will appear in the full-length film.

If there’s any question as to why The Skateboard Film Festival is being hosted in Seattle, Washington this summer, Josh Anderson's part in "World's Fair" should hopefully answer it. Simply put, the Northwest is a beautiful part of the country with an abundance of skateboard talent. One such team, Manik Skateboards, boasts that talent. "World’s Fair" is the newest Manik Skateboards video by team manager and co-owner Marshall Reid.

A Day At The Park is a portrait of the skateboard scene from over 30 skateparks in the greater Seattle area. Covering the parks themselves and the locals who skate them, and shot by some of the most involved skateboard filmers in the area, this film features some of the most memorable and innovative feats that have occured across a six year timespan and paints a vivid picture of the Seattle skate scene.
