The Last Waltz
On Thanksgiving Day, 1976, The Band threw their goodbye concert/Thanksgiving celebration at San Francisco’s Winterland and invited a few friends—including Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, The Staples, Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris, Paul Butterfield, Dr. John, Muddy Waters, Ronnie Hawkins, Neil Diamond, Ringo Starr, and Ron Woods—to play along.
