Among the projects outside of the French city of Lille, three young Arabic friends meet the older, charismatic Djamel. An able manipulator, little by little he indoctrinates the young men, leading them down the road towards terrorism. With assured performances from unknown young actors, this very real, and very contemporary, issue never loses its sense of realism, while also steering clear of the easy stereotypes of radicalized Arabic youth.
