SIFF's annual showcase of new Francophone cinema returns with a week of the best new films in the French language. From our opening night film Lost In Paris (from the directors of The Fairy), to one France's biggest box office hits of the year (Mélanie Laurent and Cyril Dion's Tomorrow), French Cinema Now includes ripped-from-the-headlines dramas, unpredictable romances, moving family stories, unpredictable comedies, and eye-opening documentaries, with performances from renowned actors Emmanuelle Riva, François Cluzet, Bérénice Bejo, Monica Bellucci, Pierre Deladonchamps, and Golshifteh Farahani. Plus, Virginie Paradis of French Truly joins us before select films for unique visual presentations about French history and culture.
