Selling out the 800 seat Cinerama for both shows, the inaugural Science Fiction Short Film Festival was a big success. 12 of the 20 filmmakers from around the world were in attendance for the screenings and awards ceremony. Terry Bisson, noted science fiction writer was the MC for the festival, and the awards were presented by local sci-fi author Greg Bear. Special thanks to Modern Digital, Miles McRae, Vulcan, AMC and the staff of the Cinerama Theatre for helping us make this festival such a success.
