Filmmaker Ned Thanhouser recounts the story of the independent film studio co-founded in 1909 by his grandparents, Edwin and Gertrude Thanhouser, which produced an astonishing number of innovative, groundbreaking pictures before closing their doors – and burning the negatives! Ned has spent years tracking down lost Thanhouser films, and joins us in person for a Q&A as well as screening some of the films he has uncovered.
