Complaining of back pain months after a car accident, Sylvie's addiction to painkillers is clear to everyone except her mother, Faye (Leo). A promising solution appears in Becket (Josh Hamilton), but relationships and loyalty are soon tested when his feelings fall in an unexpected place.

About the Filmmaker

Enid Zentelis was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival for her first feature, Evergreen, starring Cara Seymour (Adaptation) and Mary Kay Place (Being John Malkovich). It opened nationwide and received critical acclaim when a first-of-its-kind deal was inked with AMC Theaters.

Zentelis' short commercial work includes a film on President Clinton and films for major record labels on musicians such as Wilco and Eric Clapton. She teaches directing and screenwriting at NYU. She was raised in Washington State.
