FIRST HOUR
The New Money In Content Creation and How To Access It
The deluge of hedge funds, pension funds and high net worth individuals into financing and production has changed the business almost overnight. This session will ask: What does the new money mean for independent filmmakers. How can they access it? What about the major studios? What value does ownership of a film bring? Is making movies connected to getting them distributed?

SECOND HOUR
New Distribution Systems & How They Will Change the Way We Do Business
Download, broadband, IP delivery, iPods. This session will look at where we are headed and how that will change our current way of doing business. What is the direction of film consumption? Will new delivery systems mean more need for product? Why is content ownership so important? Will theatrical distribution be at the top? How do you create market value for films without theatrical distribution or market to an internet-savvy crowd?

The SIFF Cinema box office opens 1/2 hour before the first show of the day and is located at 321 Mercer St. Seating is guaranteed until 10 minutes prior to screening. No late seating.

2010 Dinner & A Movie Ticket Will Call
Tickets for the 2010 Dinner & A Movie series at Volterra will be available on the day of the event at the Volterra Drawing Room in Ballard.
