Filmmakers and Financial Managers alike will want to attend this dynamic presentation about why film and television are a good investment and why investors should act now. As one of the initial supporters and now active in the implementation of Section 181 of the 2004 American Jobs Creation Act (The Act) Corky is in a unique position to provide insights into and explain how The Act can provide significant tax relief to taxpayers, whether individual or company, who invest in qualifying film and television projects. He will also discuss the benefits in The Act that provide additional tax relief for the income received from the investment in qualifying film projects.

As an added bonus in this session, local entertainment lawyer Lance Rosen will be on-hand to share information about the newly created Washington State tax incentive package and its impact on Seattle and statewide production, and how the incentive will be applied and used.
