King of Ping Pong
Hulking 16-year-old Rille hasn’t got a lot going for him. Plump and sullen, he is bested at every turn by his cute younger brother, Erik, and is going absolutely nowhere in the girlfriend realm. But put a ping pong paddle in his hand, and Rille is a king in this gentle coming-of-age comedy about growing pains in any icy climate.

If you want to understand Ikea..., May 17, 2008
By Barnaby Dorfman
“More about family function and dysfunction than ping pong, "King" is sometimes stark and a bit over thought. Overall it stuck with me afterward and I enjoyed its humor, drama, and cinematography. I sort of imagined it could be the childhood of an Ikea designer.”
