Man on Wire
In 1974, the young French acrobat Philippe Petit thrilled the world when he strung a narrow steel wire between the nearly finished Twin Towers, and then spent an hour gamboling 1,350 feet above the streets of New York City. This amazing documentary combines archival footage, interviews, and home movies to paint a portrait of an irrepressible artist and dreamer.
