Letting Go of God

When two Mormon missionaries knock on Julia Sweeney’s door one day, they have no idea what they’re getting into. With one seemingly simple question about God, they unwittingly precipitate a soul search of cosmic proportions. The result is a friendly, funny, intelligent chronicle of one lifelong Catholic’s conversion to atheism.

“One of the best contentions for self-reliance ever written. Only Julia Sweeney can bring that kind of insight and logic to the discussion. ”
