A riveting six-year journey into the heart of Roosevelt High School’s girls’ basketball team. A maverick college tax professor takes over as coach to a struggling Seattle team with great success. He is challenged by Darnellia, an inner city tough girl with incredible skills, but her off-court difficulties threaten to sideline the team’s effort to win the state championship.
