This year we are excited to present ShortsFest weekend, featuring 14 short film packages and over 150 short films, at SIFF Cinema May 29 - June 1. With films ranging from just over 30 minutes to just under 2 minutes, SIFF ShortsFest will deliver an astonishing array of spectacular storytelling and visual splendor, offering short and satisfying glimpses into unique characters and wonderful worlds unlike our own. Add our annual Fly Filmmaking Challenge, Alternate Cinema's The Past and the Present and Portraits in Cinema programs, the 3 Minute Masterpieces and the popular FutureWave short films (made by youth under age 19) and you have a huge range of work in the short form.
