World Premiere of Dan Ireland's Jolene SIFF Co-Founder Darryl Macdonald is scheduled to introduce and facilitate a Q&A session with SIFF Co-Founder (and Jolene director) Dan Ireland. Based on E.L. Doctorow’s engrossing tale of a gifted young woman’s odyssey across America in pursuit of love and independence, Jolene follows the fortunes of a singular heroine (a riveting performance by newcomer Jessica Chastain) as she navigates her fate through opportunity and adversity over the course of an extraordinary ten-year period in her life. Also features Dermot Mulroney, Chazz Palminteri, Rupert Friend, Michael Vartan, and Denise Richards. Disney Channel superstar in person at Festival screenings of Alice, Upside DownAlyson Stoner, star of Alice, Upside Down, will sign autographs at SIFF Cinema before the screenings on June 14 and 15.
