On November 13, SIFF held its first SIP for SIFF fundraising event with over 200 guests escaping to the Caribbean at Pravda Studios! Through ticket sales, raffle tickets, and the silent auction, nearly $15,000 was raised in support of the day-to-day operational costs of running the largest Film Festival in North America.
There was Caribbean-themed food and specialty rum cocktails all night, with a variety of entertainment including a live steel drum performance, Tamara the Trapeze Lady and her live aerial performance The Dance of the Green Parrot, Kitty Baby’s amazing hula act, and DJ Verse spinning dance music.
Guests also enjoyed getting their photos taken at the Photo Cabana*, and fourteen lucky winners went home with raffle and silent auction items ranging from Billy O wine to a tropical trip for two!
