SIFF TO HONOR KEVIN BACON WITH CAREER ACHIEVEMENT IN ACTING AWARD

WHO:

With his sly grin, boyish handsomeness, and mischievous energy used to perfect effect in a wide range of film roles - from teen movie heroes and scenery-chewing supervillains to sadistic guards and emotionally crippled FBI agents - actor and musician Kevin Bacon has carved out a unique career as a captivating actor working with movie star charisma, a performer who can flow easily from lead to supporting role. 

WHAT:

SIFF presents An Evening With Kevin Bacon, welcoming him to the stage of SIFF Cinema Egyptian for an interview featuring film clips from his career and to receive the Seattle International Film Festival Career Achievement in Acting Award. Afterwards, there will be a screening of Bacon's latest film, Cop Car, directed by Jon Watts (Clown, 2013).

About Cop Car: In this lean, mean thriller, a corrupt rural sheriff (Kevin Bacon) pursues two small-town 10-year-old runaways who have taken his police cruiser for a joyride-with a gun in the backseat and a bound man in the trunk.
