Fanny, a young woman in her mid-twenties, has just moved back to her hometown to start at the local University. During orientation she struggles to bond with the other students, and decides to seek out an old friendship.

Director Biography

Norwegian director Halfdan Ullmann Tøndel  (1990) graduated from Westerdals Oslo ACT in 2015. His bachelor film "Bird Hearts" was selected in the Future Frames section at Karlovy Vary IFF. The film was also official selection at Toronto IFF, and won Best New Nordic Voice at Nordic Panorama. FANNY is his third short film.
