Director Biography 
Alvaro Gago first two short films, "Curricán" and "Bombolles,"have played mulitple film festivals and won awards at several. His most recent short film "Matria," was premiered in Spain at Valladolid International Film Festival, winning Best National Film and received the grand jury prize at Sundance. Currently, he is editing Trote, Xacio Baño's first feature film, as well as developing both his next short film and first feature film script.
