SIFF Festival Programming Manager Stan Shields picks some of his highlights from the 2019 Festival.

Stan Shields

Stan joined the SIFF programming team in 2004, after working with them as a guest artist/producer on their Screenwriter Salon program and Exploding Cinema events. Since then, he has worked with them as a Features and Shorts Programmer, a Programming Coordinator, and as an Event Producer. He assumed the position of Festival Programming Manager in January 2017. Previously he served as the Operations Manager for Intiman Theatre and a guest curator for the Bumbershoot Arts Festival and On the Boards, and taught at the Cornish College of the Arts. He is chairman emeritus of The 14/48 Projects Board of Directors, recipient of the 2008 Seattle Mayor's Arts Award.
