New at SIFF this year is our foray into episodic work and the launch of SIFF Web Fest, building on the long success of Seattle Web Fest. Over the weekend of June 1-3, SIFF will present a program of award-winning works from SeriesFest in Denver (June 1), new episodic work from Web Fest (June 2), a forum on episodic funding mechanisms and the premiere of a locally produced web series, Automata (June 3). Throughout the Festival, Eight Hours Don't Make a Day, the epic German television series from the Rainer Werner Fassbinder will round out this program. Come see why episodic filmmaking is more than just binging on Netflix!
