A typical happy family, except the faces are scratched out and the music is aggressively rhythmic.
André Shannon is a facetious film enthusiast and has been his whole life. Born in France, grown up in Thailand, and now living in Sydney, his passion for film began after seeing Daryl Hannah walk down a hospital corridor whistling Bernard Herrmann, and extends to the eccentric worlds of Spike Jonze, Vera Chytilova, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, and Jonathan Glazer. Obsessed with underground cinema, his foray into scratch film began with a fascination with Brakhage, Anger, and the contemporaries of 1970s American experimental film. The vivacious and mind boggling is at the heart of André's work, and if it can't be described, André will surely be interested.
