Pick a Side: Where Will You Be on Closing Night?

Close out SIFF 2018 with a film from China, France, or Colombia (or just go on a bar crawl!)

All good things must come to an end - and that includes the 44th Seattle international Film Festival. If you're already starting to dread the end of our city's annual movie marathon, fear not! It's time to pick a cinematic side and decide where you'll be spending Closing Night. Will you get behind Team China for the Western-inspired Wrath of Silence? Are you supporting Team Colombia and the dynamic revenge saga Killing Jesus? Will you get in the party mood with Team France and the beleaguered caterers of C'est la vie? Or are you planning to pre-funk with Team Pub Crawl and Schumann's Bar Talks?

Whichever side you choose, we'll all end up together on the dance floor for our Closing Night Party at MOHAI! Party-only tickets are also available.

Wrath of Silence

Team China: Wrath of Silence

You'll either leave hungry or never want to see sliced lamb again after this trip into the violent underbelly of Chinese society! Either way, Xin Yukun's story of a tongueless laborer on a mission to save his son will ensure a heart-racing end to SIFF 2018.

Killing Jesus

Team Colombia: Killing Jesus

Finish off your Festival with a bang and see this youthful revenge saga based on true events. An idealistic Colombian student witnesses her father's murder and is aghast at the ineptitude and apathy of the local police force. Time to take matters into her own hands.

C'est la vie!

Team France: C'est la vie!

Start your closing night off with this irresistable French confection from the filmmaking team behind The Intouchables. Max Angely (Jean-Pierre Bacri, The Taste of Others) is an aging, beleaguered caterer at the end of his rope, hoping to sell his business any day now. But first, he has to get through one last minefield of a dinner party, a high-profile wedding at a 17th century French chateau just outside of Paris. And if anything can go wrong, everything will go wrong...
