Marcus wants to be pushed out of his comfort zone. It is how he learns: Uncomfortability leading to understanding. He picks films that he believes will make audiences dive into the unknown. Marcus’s first pick is Mr. Long, a fable about a modern day Samurai that is oddly dark and comic. Marcus’s second pick is Hello Destroyer, a Canadian film focusing on the unhealthy culture of a minor league hockey team. His third pick is The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson, a documentary about the impact of the transsexual New York Drag Queen, and the current re-opening on the investigation of her death.
