SIFF Cinema Egyptian | Noir City
A young man falls under the spell of a carnival sharpshooter, leading to a cross-country crime spree. No picture before or since has more deliriously used side arms as sexual symbols. Loopy, corny, overheated, but one big adrenaline rush of creative moviemaking from start to finish, fueled by an audacious script from blacklisted screenwriter Dalton Trumbo. One of the essential noir titles.
