SIFF Cinema Egyptian | Noir City
Barbara Stanwyck (an Oscar nominee) plays a rich, invalid heiress who overhears a murder plot through the crossed wires of her bedside telephone. Based on a hugely popular radio play, author Lucille Flethcer expands her original story to feature length, and producer Hal Wallis pulls out all the stops creating a dense, complex masterwork of cinematic suspense.
