As they make their way, they run into 2 vehicles speeding in a car chase. The vehicle trying to get away is driven by a young lady in a wedding dress and the other is occupied by a bunch of armed men! Lupin decides to help the girl and successfully fends off the armed men saving the bride, but at the last second falls off a cliff and falls unconscious. The girl leaves a ring with Lupin and is captured by another set of men on a boat. Lupin recognizes the design of the ring belonging to the royal family of Cagliostro and makes a change of plans.
