France | 2012 | 180 minutes (full event) | Benoît Jacquot

July 13, 2016

SIFF Film Center | French Truly Salon
For our inaugural French Truly Salon we celebrate Bastille Day with Benoît Jacquot’s sumptuous period piece Farewell My Queen, exploring the passions, debauchery, and occasional glimpses of nobility within the court of Versailles in the final days before the French Revolution. Preceding the film will be a lively visual presentation exploring the life of the Marie Antoinette, and a reception with French treats.

$25 | $20 for SIFF Members

This month's reception features pastries from La Parisienne French Bakery and imported French wine courtesy of J Wines.
