July 12 - 18, 2013

In this smart, deliriously quirky teen comedy three teenage friends retreat to the woods and build a ramshackle cabin as a declaration of independence, oblivious to the panic their disappearance creates. An audience favorite of SIFF 2013.

Joe (Nick Robinson), Patrick (Gabriel Basso), and their eccentric and unpredictable friend Biaggio (Moises Arias), decide to spend the summer building a house in the woods and living off the land. Free from their parents' rules, their idyllic summer becomes a test of friendship with the arrival of Kelly, an outsider who introduces a romantic rivalry that threatens to bring down the house. As their parents scour the surrounding area for signs of their missing children, each boy learns to appreciate the fact that family - whether it is the one you're born into or the one you create - is something you can't run away from. A heartfelt, funny, and honest look at growing up, this audience favorite includes comedy stars Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, Alison Brie, and Mary Lynn Rajskub as the adults in this teenage world.
