USA | 2013 | 90 Minutes | Denis Villeneuve

March 21 - April 3, 2014

Ends April 3 | Jake Gyllenhaal reteams with Prisoners director Denis Villeneuve for a hypnotically surreal thriller about a history professor who finds his doppelganger and discovers that their lives have become bizarrely and irrevocably intertwined.

Adam Bell (Gyllenhaal) is a glum, disheveled history professor who seems disinterested in his life, and that even includes his beautiful girlfriend (Mélanie Laurent). One day, Adam spots his double while watching a movie, a bit-part actor named Anthony Clair (also played by Gyllenhaal), and decides to track him down.

Adapted from Nobel Prize-winning author José Saramago's 2004 novel "The Double", Enemy is an enigmatic and gripping journey through a world that is both familiar and strange - and hard to shake off long after its final, unnerving image.

"If it wasn't already clear from his earlier work, Enemy firmly establishes Villeneuve as one of today's most truly unique filmmakers." - Jason Gorber, Twitch
