Nicolas Cage and the team at Spectrevision blew the doors off your theaters with Mandy. Now they're back with two new ingredients: H.P. Lovecraft and legendary cult director Richard Stanley (Hardware), making his triumphant return to filmmaking after his horrific 1996 experience trying to adapt The Island of Dr. Moreau nearly put him off filmmaking for good.

On Wednesday, January 22, SIFF and The Reef present Color Out of Space, with a pre-recorded Q&A with Nicolas Cage and director Richard Stanley and must-see bonus footage! Doors open at 6PM with Full Tilt serving ice cream to the first 100 people. Step into the Rage Cage selfie photobooth before the show begins with an introduction from Brian and Gwen Callahan of H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival, and two giveaways*: two weekend passes to Crypticon Seattle and two 25th anniversary passes to H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival.

Lovecraft's short story  "The Colour Out of Space" has inspired some of the best sci fi/horror, from The Thing to Annihilation/Southern Reach. Nicolas Cage stars as Nathan Gardner, a man who finds his family, his home, and his life transformed into an unspeakable nightmare when a meteorite crashes into his front yard and brings a mutative alien organism with it.

"Full-bore, glorious B-movie Cage: Cranked up to 11, spattered with gore and bellowing about alpacas."—Sara Stewart, New York Post
