Canada (Québec) | 2016 | 101 minutes | Anne Émond

September 30, 2017

Rising Quebecois filmmaker Anne Émond (Nuit #1, Our Loved Ones) returns with an innovative biopic of the controversial Canadian writer Nelly Arcan, who burst onto the literary scene in 2001 with her sexually frank first novel. Émond explores Arcan's life and work by weaving together the author's fictional characters with her multiple, real-life personas: author, escort, and celebrity.
