USA | 2018 | 135 minutes | Alex Ross Perry

Opens May 5, 2019

In Alex Ross Perry's (Listen Up Phillip) most accessible film to date, a ‘90s rocker (Elisabeth Moss) on a downward trajectory wrestles with her personal demons, as those around her, including her long-suffering ex-husband (Dan Stevens) and manager (Eric Stolz) look on in horror.

Far beyond their salad days, punk-rock band Something She is on a downward spiral with few chances left to reclaim the spotlight. As the band struggles to make good on their early promise, their lead singer Becky Something (Elisabeth Moss) is deep in the throes of a self-deluded (and unearned) grandiosity that's only further complicated by her chronic drug use. Moss' third collaboration with director Alex Ross Perry (Queen of Earth) is an exceptionally brave, no-holds barred dive into a bigger-than-life personality whose grip on reality (or lack thereof) thrillingly slips before our eyes.
