Meet Jack Sim, founder of the World Toilet Organization, World Toilet Day, and a tireless (and, often, outrageously funny) activist and advocate for awareness and advancement on the issue of sanitation disparity.

Director Lily Zepeda and the subject of the film, Jack Sim, will be in attendance thanks to the kind support of The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the World Affairs Council.

Jack Sim has his crosshairs focused on a big, but singular goal: ending the practice of open defecation in the most disadvantaged regions of India and China. Branding himself Mr. Toilet, Sim has dedicated his time and energy to solving this massive problem that affects approximately 2.4 billion globally. But it's not all serious business where Jack's involved, as Sim brings both verve and humor to the mission, gleefully mixing potty humor into the work whenever possible, consciously acknowledging that the levity he adds to his activist rhetoric is exactly what broadens both its appeal and scale.

"Mr. Toilet: The World's #2 Man is just as much about Sim as it is about his mission, with (director Lily) Zepeda delivering a strong, truly character based documentary about an impassioned, rebellious advocate who sometimes forgets the difference between raising awareness and producing results."—Andrew Parker, The Gate
