Now It's Dark: The Films of David Lynch | 35mm

A love story in the city of dreams.

Naomi Watts is a bright eyed actress straight off the bus from Deep River, Ontario, looking for her big break in Hollywood.  When she befriends a darkly beautiful amnesiac (Laura Harring), found hidden in her apartment, they begin an investigation into her identity with mind bending repercussions.

Much like Lost Highway, conventional narrative structure is cast aside and the story is instead driven by intense, impressionistic ambience, psychological development, and an interconnecting series of surreal vignettes.
