Nordic Lights Film Festival (NLFF) now in its 9th year celebrates Nordic film from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Sapmi. The festival takes place on January 11-14, 2018. We strive to offer Seattle audiences the opportunity to share the long-standing film-making traditions and the newer art cinema style of the Nordic countries. We are proud of bringing people together to discover original stories through the lens of Nordic film makers.

The first NLFF took place in 2009, and spun over three days. Since 2012 the festival takes place at the SIFF Film Center by Seattle Center. In 2018 we will move some of the screenings to the bigger venue SIFF Uptown to accommodate our growing audience
