Trntignant's resistance is overcome, and the two roar away to the Italian Riviera. Sun, speed, food, drink, women, dancing: Trantignant nibbles at the edges of these pleasures, but Gassman is all in. He's an irresistible force of nature, but is Trintignant meant to live in Gassman's carefree climate? With Catherine Spaak.
