SEATTLE  In preparation for the 48th Seattle International Film Festival, to be held April 14–24, SIFF announced today the venues showcasing programmed films as well as sites for the Opening and Closing Night parties.

In addition to SIFF’s own three theaters – SIFF Cinema Uptown, SIFF Cinema Egyptian, and the SIFF Film Center – festival programming will be screened at locations in downtown Seattle, Ballard, Columbia City, and Shoreline.

“We’re thrilled to be back in the cinemas with in-person screenings, and to return to our amazing venue partners across Seattle-area neighborhoods,” said SIFF Artistic Director Beth Barrett. “Film connects us to with the stories of our time. In a world – and at a time – where so much is changing, SIFF serves as an expressive catalyst to keep us all more informed, aware, and alive.”

“AMC is excited to welcome SIFF back to AMC Pacific Place 11,” says Nikkole Denson-Randolph, senior vice president of Content Strategy and Inclusive Programming.  “We’re especially looking forward to hosting this diverse array of films where guests can enjoy them with the lights down, the sound up, and on the big screen.”

“The entire Majestic Bay family is beyond thrilled to partner with SIFF this year,” says Aaron Alhadeff, president of Majestic Bay. “We are equally excited that such an iconic part of the Seattle film culture is back in person. We feel honored to be selected as a venue for the festival and look forward to bringing a bunch of awesome films to the Ballard community

“After two years of hiatus, the Ark Lodge Cinemas is thrilled to partner with SIFF and invite SIFF patrons to come through our doors once again!” said Justin Pritchett, managing director of Ark Lodge Cinemas.
