Close-Up: Acting for the Camera

Are you ready for your close-up? In this camp, actors explore their craft for the medium of film, learning not only about acting skills but how to use cinematography to elevate your performance. Co-lead by an experienced SCT teaching artist and SIFF Filmmaking instructor, this weeklong camp experience will embolden students ages 11 to 14 years old to create memorable performances both in front of and behind the camera. The week will culminate in a film festival at the SIFF Film Center on Friday afternoon at 3pm to invite friends and family to enjoy their camper’s work.
