A former story board artist for animated films like Shrek, The Road to El Dorado, and Chicken Run, David Soren has risen through the DreamWorks ranks to become director for Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie. The Canadian director recognized the special kind of fanbase he was adopting when he agreed to work on Captain Underpants and he created a movie that reflects the deep love he has for George and Harold.
