The Seattle premiere sold-out in two days so here is your second chance to see this important film and ask your questions to the people who lived it.

The Animal People tells the story of a protest campaign that brought an international corporation to the brink of collapse, resulting in one of the most extensive FBI investigations in U.S. history, and the indictment of six young American activists for terrorism. This created a model for the Bureau that would later be used against Occupy Wall Street and Black Lives Matter. The United States Congress, under corporate pressure, rewrote laws in specific preparation for prosecution, potentially weakening free speech rights for all Americans. The Animal People is a chilling portrait of what happens when activism rattles the institutions of power.

Meet and greet, and seating begins at 6:00 pm. The film starts at 6:30; Q&A with SHAC defendants, Jake Conroy and Josh Harper, to follow. All proceeds benefit NARN and Project Fang.
