Set over one summer, the film follows precocious 6-year-old Moonee as she courts mischief and adventure with her ragtag playmates and bonds with her rebellious but caring mother, all while living in the shadows of Disney World. Sean talks with Jeremy about the impetus for the film, how he cast the film, what it was like to work with young professional actors, and the film's beautiful cinematography. The Florida Project opens at SIFF Cinema Egyptian on Friday October 20, 2017.
