Experiment with Cinema with the Festival Passport

From seasoned cinephiles who love to log their findings to those who are just discovering SIFF for the first time, SIFF’s Festival Passport is for you. Whatever your level of experience, the Passport will enhance your time at the cinema with a place to log the screenings you attend and Filmic Formulas brimming with curated combinations. 

The Festival Passport enables you to track each film and shorts program you see during the 52nd Seattle International Film Festival. Discover unique SIFF prizes by documenting the Filmic Formulas you complete.

Passports will be available at SIFF Venues the week of May 4.

Here’s how to use it:

1. Pick up a physical Passport at any of our Festival venues starting May 7, or download the digital version on your favorite device using the link below.  
2. On your Passport, write the full name and email associated with your Elevent ticket-buying account.
3. Stamp each film and shorts program you see at the Festival at our venue stamping stations.
4. Visit all our venues or see enough films to count as a complete Filmic Formula!
5. By May 20, submit your Passport in one of three ways to become eligible to win remarkable prizes:

1. Post photos of your Passport pages to Instagram with the hashtag #SIFF2026 and tag @siffnews.
2. Email photos or scans of your Passport pages with your full name to festpassport@siff.net.
3. Drop off your physical Passport with your full name and address written on the front at the SIFF Film Center (167 Republican St), open May 8–17 - 10:00am–6:00pm daily.

Every time you finish a Filmic Formula combination or check off Cinema Phenomena from the list, you can enter to win an Ultimate Annual Pass to SIFF’s year-round cinemas or a year of free popcorn at SIFF Cinema Downtown! Want to experiment with film your own way? Don’t worry: each person who submits a Passport with at least one film marked by May 20 will still be entered to win Festival merch.

Research integrity is vital, so keep your observations strictly scientific! ​​Only Passports submitted with the full name and email address associated with the user’s Elevent ticket buying account will be eligible to win prizes.
