Faced with a lack of job offers, Antonio, a passionate but often unemployed actor, accepts a job as a teacher of a theater workshop in a penitentiary institute, deciding to stage "Waiting for Godot."

Faced with the lack of job offers, Antonio, a passionate but often unemployed actor, accepts a job offered to him by an old friend and colleague, much smarter than him, as a teacher of a theater workshop in a penitentiary institute. Hesitant at first, he discovers talent in the unlikely company of inmates, rekindling his passion and desire to do theatre, to the point of convincing the severe prison director to cross the prison walls and stage the famous comedy by Samuel Beckett "Waiting for Godot" on a real theater stage. The inmates start to surrender to Antonio's resolve and let themselves discover the liberating power of art and its ability to give purpose and hope beyond expectation. When the final green light arrives, a triumphal tour begins. Based on the French film The Big Hit (2020), this is inspired in turn by a true story from the 1980s, and won the Astro d’Argento Best Comedy Actor award for Antonio Albanese.
