Cold Calls by Blank Collective

Cold Calls is a ski film pieced together through conversations, memories, and whatever the season decided to offer. from storm cycles in whistler to deep days in japan, big terrain in norway, and rare sun in alaska, each call brought a different story — some hilarious, some heavy, most somewhere in between. what came out wasn’t exactly planned, but it felt right.

One Step Ahead

One Step Ahead follows Norwegian skier Bernt Marius as he gets back to doing what he loves: skiing big lines in the Sunnmøre Alps after losing his leg in an accident. The film captures the ups and downs of relearning the sport and working through the mental side of recovery. It’s a raw, honest look at what it takes to keep moving forward when everything changes.

The Edge of Reason

by Cody Townsend with Nikolai Schrimer

Two veteran professional skiers, hardened and seasoned by tragedy in the mountains seek a rekindling of their aggressive approach to steep terrain by venturing to Norway’s Lyngen Alps with a fearless young phenom—only to find that the mountains have much more to teach them all about risk, reckoning and the thin line between glory and grief.

Local Flavor

From deep Japan powder and the freestyle flavor of départ to summer on Mt. Hood, winter shenanigans across the west and two kids putting it "All on Black," we'll round out the evening with a collection of short films created by our North American athletes.
