Seattle 48 Hour Film Project Premiere Screenings 2025
Opens July 21, 2025
Presented by Create 48 Media Network
The Seattle 48 Hour Film Project is an annual competition where filmmakers create a short film in just 48 hours. Celebrating it’s 20th year in 2025, this event fosters creativity and community among Washington’s vibrant filmmaking talent.
Participants draw a genre from a hat, and must incorporate specific elements such as a character, prop, and line of dialogue into their films. The resulting short films are screened at SIFF Cinema Uptown, with the top film advancing to Filmapalooza 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal, and a chance to be featured at the Cannes Film Festival 2026. Join us for a weekend of creativity, teamwork, and cinematic magic!
Passes: $72 ($48 Members)
Individual Tickets: $18 ($10 Members, Students, Seniors, and Veterans)
