Seattle 48 Hour Horror Film Project

Presented by Seattle 48 Hour Film Project, CREATE48 Media Network, and Harbor Island Studios. See what happens when local filmmakers have just 48 hours to bring their nightmares to life. The Seattle 48 Hour Horror Film Project presents a wildly inventive collection of short horror films, celebrating homegrown talent, unexpected scares, and filmmaking under pressure.

A little imagination. A lot of caffeine. Just 48 hours to make something terrifying.
The Seattle 48 Hour Horror Film Project brings local filmmaking teams together for a weekend of creative mayhem, challenging them to write, shoot, and edit an original horror short before time runs out. Now, their nightmares come to the big screen at SIFF Cinema.

Join the filmmakers and fellow horror fans for a showcase of fresh voices, bold ideas, and unexpected scares. Whether you’re cheering on a team or discovering your next favorite local filmmaker, come celebrate the ingenuity and collaboration behind every frantic frame.
