It is 1939. The world is descending into chaos. Thousands of Poland's most distinguished citizens are taken captive by the Soviet Union, where they are subjected to relentless ideological indoctrination as part of a larger plan.
An ambitious Soviet agent makes it his personal mission to break the will of one particular prisoner, a world-renowned young pianist and respected leader among his fellow captives. If he can be forced to surrender his convictions, many others may follow.
Can the young officer, devoted husband, and loving father withstand an opponent backed by the full power and ruthless machinery of the Soviet regime?
A deadly psychological battle begins, driven by manipulation, intimidation, and false promises. Some prisoners cling to the hope that they will soon return home. Others, convinced the enemy will show no mercy, risk everything in a desperate escape attempt. Unaware that time is running out, they do not realize that their captor is preparing to make his final move at any moment.
